AceShowbiz - A new Dr. Dre track has made its way out online while it remains unclear when his long-awaited new album "Detox" will arrive. Hitting the web over the weekend, the song features guest appearances from Kendrick Lamar and Jeremih.
The slow-tempo jam opens with Jeremih's soulful hook, which samples The Roots' 2009 song "You Got Me" featuring Erykah Badu, before Dre emerges to deliver the first verse about wooing a woman who already has a man.
"But what he don't know never hurt him, so just desert him/ I find it hard to believe that he ain't pullin' your weave/ No, I'm kiddin', I'm knowin' my d**k is different/ He kept his distance, I kept comin' over and stayed persistent," he raps.
Lamar later takes over as he spits his own steamy bars on the second verse, "I mean, the swagger I got, just know it's half the effort/ They tryin' to toot my horn/ But, s**t, I sworn that I swarmed up in it, stamped and fingerprint it/ Don't be passin' up 'til we finish what we started."
Details of "2Nite" are still unknown. Based on Lamar's flow, many are speculating that this was recorded during K. Dot's "Section .80" era.
