AceShowbiz - How Cuba Gooding Jr. will look like as O.J. Simpson has been revealed in cast photos of "American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson". The actor plays the former football star in the first installment of FX's new anthology series from executive producers Brad Falchuk and Ryan Murphy.
The other pictures feature John Travolta as defense attorney Robert Shapiro, David Schwimmer as defense attorney Robert Kardashian, Sarah Paulson as prosecutor Marcia Clark, Courtney B. Vance as Johnnie Cochran and Billy Magnussen as Kato Kaelin.
Filming for the upcoming show is currently underway. On Wednesday, May 20, Gooding Jr. was spotted shirtless on the set in Encino, a suburb of L.A., while filming his scenes near a car. He wore a pair of dark blue boxer shorts and socks and sneakers. Travolta was also seen on the set, looking sharp in a blue suit while standing by the white front door of a large mansion.
"American Crime Story" is created by Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski. The first season, which is expected to premiere in 2016, will focus on the 1995 sensational murder trial that involved O.J. Simpson.
Selma Blair also joins the cast as Kris Jenner, Connie Britton stars as Faye Resnick who befriended Simpson's murdered ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson, and Jordana Brewster stars as the victim's sister Denise Brown.
