Fans are already very close to getting a new Selena Gomez album. At a Google Hangout event on Wednesday, May 13 during which she debuted her new collection for Adidas Neo, the former Disney sweetheart gave an update on the anticipated full-length, saying it's "kind of close to being done."

Sel said she'd been "endlessly" working on the follow-up to 2013's "Stars Dance". "I've been working in Mexico, I've been in the studio constantly. I am so anxious for you guys to see everything and hear everything," she explained and assured fans her new project would be worth the wait because "it's the best that I've ever done."

The 22-year-old singer's yet-to-be-titled album will mark her first for Insterscope. She was previously signed to the Disney-owned Hollywood Records, under which she dropped her latest LP, a compilation set called "For You".
