The 'Heartbeat' singer broke the rule set by the Met Gala organizer by uploading his selfies with other celebrity guests including Cara and Lady GaGa.

AceShowbiz - Refusing to follow the rule about the ban of selfie during the Met Gala, Justin Bieber posted his selfie with Cara Delevingne on Instagram. Not only with the model, but also the 21-year-old singer posted a selfie with the Mother Monster, Lady GaGa.
Bieber wasn't the only rule-breaker at the Met Gala. A number of superstars couldn't contain their excitement at the event by taking pictures which they later shared on social media sites. They included Madonna, Katy Perry, and Behati Prinsloo just to name a few.
Taking pictures using cell phones was prohibited during the Met Gala as, according to a source close to Vogue, all guests received a notice stating, "The use of phones for photography and social media will not be permitted inside the gala."
There was no clear explanation of why this rule was implemented. Many speculated that the ban was to give Vogue editorial control of photos. However, the source told Pret-a-Reporter, "It has solely to do with guests' security and enjoyment of the event."
The Met Gala is not the first event banning the use of phone for excessive photography. Choachella and Lollapalooza are earlier events putting selfie stick on a list of prohibited items.
This year's Met Gala chose "China: Through the Looking Glass" as the theme. Many superstars attended this annual event.
