Jamie Foxx got a lot of backlash over his National Anthem version at Floyd Mayweather, Jr. Vs. Manny Pacquiao fight in the Sin City. He put his best effort to deliver an emotional rendition of "The Star-Spangled Banner" before the showdown, but many people at Twitter were unmoved by his performance.

Another wrote, "They couldn't find a better singer than Jamie Foxx?! #MayPac." A fan agreed, "If there's anything we all learned from this, it's that Jamie Foxx can't sing."
Some other unfavorable comments read, "Jamie Foxx, you tried but that anthem was dreadful to watch," "Let's all just erase Jamie Foxx's appearance from our collective memory," and "maypac should've been the undercard, the real fight was Jamie Foxx vs the National Anthem."
