In the flick, Jones is set to romance April O'Neil, played by Megan Fox, who was recently spotted rocking a shoulder-length curly blonde hair and dressing up like Britney Spears from her "...Baby One More Time" music video. Jones becomes friends with Raphael and helps punish the criminals.

Also starring in the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" sequel are Will Arnett who returns as Vernon Fenwick and William Fichtner as Eric Sacks. The new cast members include Tyler Perry as scientist Baxter Stockman, Brian Tee as the new Shredder, and Laura Linney whose role is still undisclosed.

Bay produces the movie while Dave Green ("Earth to Echo") is attached to direct. It is set for a release on June 3, 2016 in the United States.
