AceShowbiz - Turning 40 years old this coming Saturday, May 2, David Beckham will have a celebration in Marrakesh, Morocco. It was his wife Victoria Adams who confirmed the matter through an Instagram post of a pink dress which she captioned with "What to wear in Marakesh?Vintage Yves Saint Laurent #DB40 x vb."
The Sun reported the retired soccer star and his entourage would be checking into the luxury five-star Amanjena resort, just outside Marrakech, for a weekend of partying. The hotel restaurant, still according to The Sun (via Daily Mail Online), "specializes in Moroccan and Mediterranean cuisine... has a Thai restaurant on site, a private dining space, as well as a cigar bar."
Meanwhile, multiple sources have claimed the likes of Tom Cruise, sports agent David Gardner, Liv Tyler, film director Guy Ritchie, celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, and David's former Manchester United team-mate Gary Neville will be in attendance. A spokesperson for David declined to comment on the rumored birthday plans.
On Wednesday, April 29, David was photographed hitting LAX airport about to board a plane. It was believed that he was making his way to Marrakesh for his big day. He was joined at the airport by father Ted and David Gardner. Victoria and the kids, meanwhile, are believed to be joining David on Friday, May 1.
