The R'n'B singer's 14-date tour comes in support of his first album in 14 years, 2014's 'Black Messiah'.

It's going to be a busy summer for D'Angelo. The R&B superstar has just announced that he is spending June hitting the road to support last year's "Black Messiah", his latest album which is also his first in 14 years.
The 14-date "Second Coming Tour" will open on June 7 at the Fox Theater in Oakland, CA and include the singer's set at Bonnaroo Festival on June 13 in Manchester, TN. It will also come to other U.S. cities like Los Angeles, Kansas City, Atlanta, Houston and Philadelphia before being wrapped up on June 28 at Sayreville, NJ's Starland Ballroom. Tickets go on sale May 1.
At each show, D'Angelo will be accompanied by his band The Vanguard whose members include Jesse Johnson (guitar), Isaiah Sharkey (guitar), Pino Palladino (bass), Chris "Daddy" Dave (drums), Cleo "Pookie" Sample (keyboards) and singers Kendra Foster, Charlie "Red" Middleton and Jermain Holmes.
