Series co-creator Ryan Murphy broke the news on Friday morning, April 24 via Twitter. "This season, Evan Peters will be waiting for you in Room 64. #AHSHOTEL," so he wrote, without revealing Peters' role.

Peters has starred in all previous installments of the horror anthology series. He most recently played lobster-clawed Jimmy Darling on "Freak Show".

The 28-year-old actor joins Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson, Wes Bentley, Chloe Sevigny, Lady GaGa, Matthew Bomer and Cheyenne Jackson who have been previously announced to star on "Hotel".

The 13-episode new season of "AHS" will start shooting this summer in L.A. for a fall premiere.
