Sitting down for an interview with "Late Night with Seth Meyers" in New York City on Wednesday night, April 22, Gina Rodriguez credited her father for giving her the best beauty advice. "I had a father that would - we would look up at billboards and he would say, 'That's one version of beauty. You're another version of beauty. And she's a version of beauty. And that girl? She's another version of beauty,' " she raved.

"He always said that beauty came from within ...," Gina stated further. "And you're younger, and you're [sarcastically] like, 'Yeah, beauty comes from within' - no, beauty does come from within." The 30-year-old actress went on revealing, "I've met some of the most beautiful people, and sadly their heart is just not smiling, and that destroys it all. And then other people that aesthetically aren't considered as beautiful are the most gorgeous people I've ever seen in my life."

Rodriguez, who is best known for her acting in "Jane the Virgin", has recently been named the new ambassador and face of the famous brand Kipling. On her recruitment, the screen beauty gushed, "To me, Kipling has always embodied the perfect blend of comfort and femininity. When I was a teen, I saw my first Kipling bag with the cute monkey and wanted one so bad but couldn't afford it. I saved my allowances and eventually bought my first one all by myself. I kept that bag for over 10 years. Now I get to be a part of this beautiful movement. I love the way life works itself out - it's full circle."
