"Saturday Night Live" has booked hosts and musical guests for the last episodes of its 40th season. The show has announced through Twitter that Reese Witherspoon will host the May 9 episode, marking her return after she previously hosted the show in 2001. The "Hot Pursuit" actress will be joined by Florence and the Machine as the musical guest.

Comedian Louis C.K. is tapped to host the May 16 episode, with Rihanna returning as musical guest. The "Louie" creator and star has previously hosted the NBC sketch series twice.

Scarlett Johansson, meanwhile, has previously been announced to host the May 2 episode with newly announced musical guest Wiz Khalifa. Her "SNL" hosting gig comes just a day after her highly anticipated movie "Avengers: Age of Ultron" opens in theaters across the nation on May 1.
