Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin have settled their divorce deal. According to TMZ, which was first to report the news, the former couple "have been using their business managers to hash out a settlement agreement involving both property and custody" and so will be having the documents filed "later Monday."
Sources close to both Paltrow and Martin informed TMZ that both entertainers had signed the agreement and were waiting for the paperwork to be signed by the judge to make their divorce a done deal. No words were shared on the terms of the deal that both stars have agreed on. It was believed that they would cite irreconcilable differences as the cause of their divorce and they would share joint custody of their children, Apple and Moses.
Paltrow and Martin got married in 2003 after their first meeting the year before. The pair confirmed their separation in March last year. In a blog post titled "Conscious Uncoupling" on her lifestyle blog Goop they announced, "It is with hearts full of sadness that we have decided to separate. We have been working hard for well over a year, some of it together, some of it separated, to see what might have been possible between us, and we have come to the conclusion that while we love each other very much we will remain separate."
