Kate Middleton has been spending quality time with Prince William and Prince George at Kensington Palace days ahead her due date. According to Us Weekly, Kate is "waiting out her final days" before giving birth at her home after visiting her parents' home in Bucklebury with George over the weekend.
On Sunday, April 19, Kate brought George to Bucklebury Farm where a local says that George had so much fun. "She had a protection officer with her and another woman, who didn't look like Carole," the eyewitness tells the site, "George was in a cute jacket and was having the time of his life, if those giggles were anything to go by."
"What amazed me was how slim Kate looked from the back!" the source adds, "If tradition is right, that means she must be having a boy."
An insider tells the site of the second baby's preparation, "Kate has got as much as she wanted done before this last stretch. She spent time with William at Anmer and went to Bucklebury, which was really nice. Although his work is based in three different areas - Norwich, Cambridge, and Gloucestershire - he is staying at Anmer most evenings during the working week."
During her visit to Anmer Hall with William in early April, Kate also brought George to the local petting zoo Snettisham Farm Park, where they tried out an adventure playground and met a baby lamb. "Kate has come here with George a few times in the past," a staff member of the park says, "They really like it here. George loves to meet other children and also pet the animals. He's an adorable little boy."
While Kate approaches her due date, William still has some royal duties. He is scheduled for a special engagement with the Queen and Prince Philip on April 25. A palace source says that "every effort will be made" to get William to the hospital on time if Kate goes into labor in the midst of his engagement.
According to the site, Kate's mother will be moving to Anmer Hall once the baby is born. "She will be there for the first month to help out," a source shares, "Kate feels like she owes so much to her mom for helping out during George's birth and she couldn't do it again without her. Nothing feels better than having your mom around during a time like this."
