The first trailer for an upcoming thriller "Survivor" has just arrived, showing Pierce Brosnan in an anti-Bond role. It gives a sneak peek at the former 007 actor as he plays a ruthless mercenary hired to kill Milla Jovovich's character.
She plays a State Department employee newly posted to the American embassy in London, where she is charged with stopping terrorists from getting into the U.S. It puts her right in the line of fire and she is targeted for death and framed for crimes. Discredited, she is forced to go on the run while she tries to clear her name and stop a large-scale terrorist attack set for New Year's Eve in Times Square.
Coming from "V for Vendetta" director James McTeigue, the movie is expected to be released in North America on May 29. Emma Thompson, Dylan McDermott, Angela Bassett, and James D'Arcy round up the cast ensemble.
