Footage showing Taraji P. Henson's son Marcel Henson getting pulled over by cops in Glendale casts doubt on the actress' claim that he was racially profiled. From the police dashboard video, it's revealed that Marcel was actually stopped for running a yellow light at a crosswalk.

An officer who approached Marcel asked if he had ever been arrested and if there's anything illegal in the car. The 20-year-old admitted he had marijuana but couldn't find his prescription card. "I appreciate you being honest with me about the weed ... because I do smell weed," the cop said.

The cop then checked Marcel's ID and asked him to get out of his car and wait on the sidewalk, which he complied without argument. Presumably due to his cooperation, the "Empire" star's son was let off for running the yellow light, only getting cited for weed possession.

"So I'm going to give you a citation for the marijuana," the cop said in the video obtained by LA Times. "I'm not going to give you a citation for running that yellow because that will actually put a moving violation on your license and you're going to have to do traffic school and all that stuff."

"So I'm helping you out by not giving you a violation on that. All I'm going to do is take the weed from you. You can go to court and show your prescription and stuff and you can handle it that way."
