Bella Thorne has just secured a new major project to be added into his acting resume, ABC Family's new drama series "Famous in Love". Based on Rebecca Serle's romantic novel of the same name, the show is currently in development with Marlene King and Serle writing the adaptation. Both of them will also serve as executive-producers alongside Dan Farah.
The story of "Famous in Love" will center "on a college student (Thorne) plucked from obscurity to star in a major Hollywood movie franchise who struggles with her new-found fame," Deadline reports. No other cast members have been named. Airing date also has not been set yet.
Best known for her starring role as CeCe Jones on Disney Channel's "Shake It Up", Bella Thorne has also starred on a number of other series. Her TV works included "Big Love" and "Dirty Sexy Money", and the most recent guest-starring gigs on "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" and "Red Band Society".
