Video: Sam Smith and John Legend Perform 'Lay Me Down' for Red Nose Day

The two singers, who re-recorded the 'In the Lonely Hour' song as the official Red Nose Day 2015 single, reunited to sing it live for the first time during 'Comic Relief - Face the Funny' event.

AceShowbiz - Sam Smith recently reunited with John Legend to perform the duet version of "Lay Me Down". The duo delivered the first live rendition of the song during BBC One's "Comic Relief - Face the Funny" event for Red Nose Day.

Taking the stage at the London Palladium, the two superstars donned dark-colored dapper suits. Smith showed off his impressive vocals as he sang over the piano played by Legend. The "All of Me" hitmaker later joined Smith to sing the second verse and chorus.

The solo version of "Lay Me Down" is a cut off Smith's Grammy-nominated 2014 debut album "In the Lonely Hour". The 22-year-old singer and Legend re-recorded the song as the official Red Nose Day 2015 single.

The new version was debuted a few days ago. It's available for purchase on iTunes with sales benefiting Comic Relief that works to change the lives of poor, vulnerable and disadvantaged people across the U.K. and Africa.
