Alicia's mind wanders as she loses her voice in the latest episode of the CBS series and she speaks to Will in her head.

"The Good Wife" brought back Will Gardner (Josh Charles) in its latest episode in a way that many might have never imagined. In the March 8 outing, Alicia (Julianna Margulies) lost her voice as she was readying for a big interview which would determine the result of her campaign.
While trying to rest her voice, she imagined the answers to some big questions including Louis Canning's (Michael J. Fox) wrongful eviction suit and Zach's (Graham Phillips) girlfriend's abortion. Her mind wandered and she fantasized about Peter (Chris Noth) and Kalinda (Archie Panjabi) in bed together.
She was also thinking about Johnny (Steven Pasquale) and Finn (Matthew Goode) in a sexual manner, but the most surprising part was when Will's voice appeared inside her head. She told him that she missed him and everything's falling apart. "You're strong, you'll hold it together," he told her. As she's ready to move on, she told him, "Goodbye, Will."
In other news, series co-creator Robert King recently said at the PaleyFest that Kalinda wouldn't suffer the same fate as Will's when Archie Panjabi leaves the series. "[Kalinda] can't go out Will Gardner-style because you guys know that she's leaving," King told PEOPLE. "Will Gardner-style was that no one knew ... Since everybody expects it, it's a whole different beast."
"The Good Wife" airs Sundays at 9 P.M. on CBS. A preview for the next episode hints that Alicia's imagination about Johnny is about to become reality.
