The 'Star Trek' actor was reportedly rushed to UCLA Medical Center last week after suffering a severe chest pains.

AceShowbiz - Leonard Nimoy was sent to UCLA Medical Center on Thursday, February 19 after suffering a severe chest pains, TMZ reported. According to the site, paramedics immediately got the Dr. Spock of "Star Trek" actor to see a doctor.
LAFD spokeswoman Katherine Main confirmed to Los Angeles Times that firefighters went to Leonard's address at the 800 block of Stone Canyon Road in Bel-Air at around 7:31 A.M. Although Katherine wouldn't confirm it was Leonard, there was indeed a person taken to hospital from the address.
His agent Bob Gersh refused to comment on the actor's health, but Leonard was active on Twitter on Sunday. In the afternoon, he tweeted a snippet from his original poetry. "I will be sharing my poetry. Today's is, 'You and I have Learned', which is in my book, 'These Words Are for You'. LLAP," he wrote alongside the snippet.

In the night, he was back on Twitter, writing, "A life is like a garden. Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory. LLAP."
Last year, Leonard revealed that he had been diagnosed with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease after he was spotted being wheeled through JFK airport with oxygen tube attached to his nose. "I quit smoking 30 years ago. Not soon enough. I have COPD. Grandpa says, quit now!! LLAP [Live Long and Prosper]," he tweeted to his fans at that time.
"Smokers, please understand. If you quit after you're diagnosed with lung damage it's too late. Grandpa says learn my lesson. Quit now," he added, "I'm doing OK. Just can't walk distances. Love my life, family, friends and followers. LLAP."
