It has just been a few months since Sia Furler put out her latest album, 2014's "1000 Forms of Fear". While she's still enjoying the success of the LP, the Australian singer/songwriter has confirmed that she's almost ready to drop a follow-up that she says will be called "This Is Acting".

"I'm super productive. I have a full album ready to go and it's much more pop," Sia said in a new interview with NME. "I'm calling it 'This Is Acting' because they are songs I was writing for other people, so I didn't go in thinking 'this is something I would say.' It's more like play-acting. It's fun."

Supported by Grammy-nominated single "Chandelier", "1000 Forms of Fears" became Sia's first album to have topped Billboard 200 as it directly landed at the chart's No. 1 following its arrival last July. In the interview, the 39-year-old musician revealed that she originally released the album to get out of her publishing contract.

"Basically, I put this out to get out of my publishing deal. I was planning to be a pop song writer for other artists," she explained. "But my publishing deal was as an artist so I had to put one more album out. I didn't want to get famous so I kept all the songs I wanted and had a lot of fun making it."
