Following wild speculation that she will be tapped to take over the reins on the Comedy Central late-night show, Williams says she's 'extremely under-qualified for the job.'

Jessica Williams has set things straight following wild rumors that she will replace Jon Stewart on "The Daily Show". The 25-year-old actress and comedian, who has been a correspondent on the Comedy Central show, took to her Twitter on Sunday, February 15 to shoot down the speculation.

"Fact 1: I'm not hosting. Thank you but I am extremely under-qualified for the job!" so she wrote. She added in another post, "At this age (25) if something happens politically that I don't agree with, I need to go to my room & like not come out for, like, 7 days," and later added, "That being said I am super not right for it, but there are quite a few people who are! Can't wait to stick around & see what happens."

Aziz Ansari, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler and Amy Schumer have been mentioned as possible new host for the news satire program since Jon Stewart announced his departure earlier this month.

Fellow Comedy Central host Larry Wilmore said he "was devastated just like everyone else just because of the thought of Jon leaving, but talking to him about it and everything, it feels like it's time for him to move on." Wilmore revealed that he "slapped" Stewart and "shook him a little bit" when Stewart told him about his plan to leave "The Daily Show".
