Gary Busey has been involved in a car accident. The actor accidentally hit a woman with his car at the parking lot of a supermarket at Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu on Friday, February 13, the authorities have confirmed.
A spokesperson at the Lost Hills/Malibu Sheriff's Station tells E! News, "Gary Busey was the driver. He was backing out of a parking stall and bumped someone. L.A. County Fire responded. Treated the victim at the scene. She was fine. There were no arrests. No conspiracies. No DUIs."
TMZ, which obtained a video of police officers gathering at the scene in the aftermath of the accident, reports that the woman was knocked to the ground and suffered minor injuries. She received medical attention at the scene and left after paramedics treated her.
This isn't the first time Busey got involved in an accident. Back in 1988, he suffered a fractured skull and possible brain damage in a motorcycle crash, during which he wasn't wearing a helmet.
