Liv Tyler's father Steven Tyler has shared a photo of the family's moment together after his daughter gave birth to her second child. The Aerosmith rocker took to Facebook on Friday, February 13 to share a photo of Liv at the hospital. In the photo, the Arwen depicter in "The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers" can be seen being all smiles while lying in bed. Steven and his other daughter Mia are with her.
In a statement, the 66-year-old musician recalled what happened when he heard news that Liv was going into labor. "When I got the call that Liv was going into labor, after crying like a baby myself, I immediately dropped everything and went to the airport to get on the next available flight," he said.
Thankfully, he arrived at the hospital just in time for the baby's arrival. "When I landed I kept calling my daughter Mia, who was already helping Liv, and she kept giving me minute-by-minute updates... 'HURRY THE BABY IS COMING!' I made it RIGHT in time before my second grandson entered this world. It was another (God wink) moment of a lifetime for me," he continued.
Liv and her boyfriend David Gardner welcomed the baby boy on Wednesday, February 11. She is already a mother to a 10-year-old son Milo with her then-husband Royston Langdon.
Steven is not the only one who gushed about the new addition to the family on social media. Liv's friend Kate Hudson congratulated the actress via Instagram during the throwback Thursday. "#tbt to many years ago when @misslivalittle was preggers with Milo. Yesterday [she] welcomed a new baby boy! Congrats mama, I love you Shpooops!" she wrote.
