AceShowbiz - Network analyst and pro football hall of famer Warren Sapp was fired by NFL Network after he was arrested for soliciting a prostitute and assault. Aaron Wilson, reporter for NFL of National Football Post, tweeted about Warren Sapp's dismissal from NFL Network on February 2.

Wilson tweeted on February 2, "Alex Riethmiller, NFL Network spokesman told me: 'Warren Sapp's contract has been terminated and he no longer works for NFL Network.' " NFL Network decided to fire Sapp and remove his profile from its website just hours after news of his arrest surfaced.

The former NFL defensive tackle was in Phoenix, Arizona for to help the network cover the Super Bowl this weekend. Phoenix Police arrested Sapp after his alleged victim called the security of the Renaissance Phoenix Downtown Hotel-Marriott on Monday.

Jon Erickson, director of sales and marketing for the hotel, said, "We have been contacted by the Phoenix Police Department regarding a matter involving one of our guests. We are cooperating with the police as they investigate this situation." Erickson didn't want to further comment on the case because it's an active investigation.

It is not the first time that Sapp gets into trouble. He was arrested in a battery case by Miami Beach authorities in 2010, but the charge was later dropped.

Sapp played more than 10 seasons in the NFL and won the Super Bowl title with Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2002. He retired in 2008 and after that he became an analyst for NFL Network.
