Linkin Park Cancels Remaining Tour Dates due to Chester Bennington's Injury

Days before the cancellation was announced, Bennington was spotted using a scooter to support his injured leg at a concert in Indianapolis.

AceShowbiz - Linkin Park was forced to cancel the remaining dates on their "The Hunting Party" tour after lead vocalist Chester Bennington injured his leg. The rock band announced the decision and apologized to fans in a statement posted on their official website on Tuesday, January 20.

"I'm really disappointed this injury has made it impossible to continue with this tour," Bennington says. "The first couple of shows were just magical. We will truly miss not being with our fans for the next few weeks. Hope to see you again soon."

There's no word on how Bennington injured his leg. In the statement, it's only revealed that the injury "requires immediate medical attention." Fans with tickets to the canceled dates can seek refunds at point of purchase.

Prior to making the announcement, the group only canceled two shows that were supposed to take place in Pittsburgh on January 20 and in Albany, N.Y. on January 21. Previously on Sunday, Bennington was seen using a scooter to support his right leg when performing in Indianapolis.
