'Fifty Shades of Grey' Won't Feature the Tampon Scene

People behind 'Fifty Shades of Grey' such as director Sam Taylor-Johnson and producer Michael De Luca talk about the highly-anticipated movie in a new magazine interview.

AceShowbiz - "Fifty Shades of Grey" is coming next month and now people behind the highly-anticipated movie tease fans of what to expect and what they will not see in the film. In the new issue of Variety, director Sam Taylor-Johnson shares that the scene involving Anastasia Steele, Christian Grey and a tampon in the erotic book by E.L. James does not make it into the movie. "It was never even discussed," she tells the magazine.

Producer Michael De Luca additionally explains that the scene does not need to be included. "The book needed to put you in Ana's shoes to be a successful experience," he says. "A lot of it was very literal. The movie didn't need to do that. It's a completely different medium."

In the interview for the issue, Jamie Dornan who is featured on the magazine's front page additionally confirms people won't see his manhood on the big screen. "They were privy to everything, just not my manhood," the Christian Grey depicter says, adding that he wore a skin-colored pouch during filming. "It's like one of those little satchels that Robin Hood or someone of that era would have tied on to his belt. There's no back. It's tiny. I mean, it's not tiny! Because it's got to hold a lot."

The father of one also opens up about one of the toughest things throughout filming, making orgasm face. "It's the worst thing imaginable. For all the reasons anyone would think, most people would like to keep their sex face private. The idea of a million people seeing that! I hope it happens quite fast," he shares.

"Fifty Shades of Grey" arrives in U.S. theaters on February 13 just in time for Valentine's Day. In addition to Dornan, the movie stars Dakota Johnson as Ana as well as Rita Ora, Luke Grimes, Marcia Gay Harden and Andrew Airlie as Grey's family.
