Nadji Jeter was arrested on Saturday night, January 17 in Burbank, California on suspicion of driving under the influence of marijuana. Burbank Police Sergeant Scott Meadows said on Sunday, January 18 that Nadji was pulled over shortly after 7:00 P.M. for an alleged traffic violation.
When police officers approached the "Grown Ups" actor's car, they smelled marijuana and believed he had been smoking the illegal drug while driving. Scott told New York Daily News that there were three female passengers in Nadji's car, adding that Nadji was given chemical drug test but the results were not in yet.
The 18-year-old actor was released on Sunday morning after he was sober. He was given a misdemeanor citation.
Nadji is best known for his role as Andres McKenzie in "Grown Ups" and its sequel "Grown Ups 2".
He will next be seen in upcoming movie "The 5th Wave" along with Chloe Moretz, Nick Robinson, Liev Schreiber and Ron Livingston. Directed by J Blakeson, the sci-fi thriller is set to hit U.S. theaters on January 29, 2016.
