New Stills From 'Ant-Man' and Plot Details Revealed

Among the stills from the highly-anticipated movie is a photo of Paul Rudd being directed by Peyton Reed and another snap of Evangeline Lilly.

More bits of info from "Ant-Man" as well as new stills have been revealed. Arriving via Entertainment Weekly, the photos from the filming set show Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Douglas and director Peyton Reed.

A snap shows Rudd discussing something with Reed. Another photo sees Rudd standing near his Ant-Man costume, and he can be seen with his on-screen mentor Douglas in another. A separate photo teases Lilly who plays Douglas' daughter.

Rudd plays a con-man named Scott Lang who has astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, while Douglas plays his mentor and the creator of the Ant-Man suit, Dr. Hank Pym. Together, the two must plan and pull off a heist that will save the world.

Some info regarding the plot has also been shared by Corey Stoll who plays the villain Yellowjacket a.k.a. Darren Cross. "[Darren Cross] was this child prodigy that Hank Pym nurtured," he tells the magazine. "He started to become aware of this fabled technology that can shrink people to half an inch. Now he's discovered his own version of that technology-which has a psychotic effect on people if they use it too much."

The movie also stars T.I. as Dave, Michael Pena as Luis and David Dastmalchian as Kurt, Lang's friends whom he met when he was in jail. "We are the team that makes up the Ant-Man crusaders, if you will," T.I. says. It is set to hit U.S. theaters on July 17.
