The younger sister of Britney Spears reportedly ran behind the counter and grabbed a serrated bread knife during a recent altercation at a restaurant.

Jamie Lynn Spears reportedly was caught in the middle of a restaurant brawl recently. According to TMZ, Britney Spears' younger sister was at Pita Pit in Hammond, Louisiana with a female friend when a brawl involving some men broke out. The country singer's friend reportedly was knocked over in the fight. Spears then grabbed a serrated bread knife and used it to stop the altercation.
The restaurant's owner Jack J. Brighenti shared his account on the incident in an interview with E! News. "I have been with Pita Pit for several years, and have never seen anything like this before," he said. "The events that happened occurred after 2 A.M. this past Saturday night just before we closed. A group of males got into an altercation and for some reason Jamie Lynn Spears ran behind the counter and picked up a bread knife."
"Our management called the police immediately and thankfully nothing else happened. Our passion and focus is and always will be to serve the Hammond community healthy pitas!" he added.
According to TMZ, Spears' friend did not want to press charge. No one was arrested following the fight.
