Congratulations are in order for Lance Bass, 35, and Michael Turchin, 27. The former NSYNC boybander married his artist beau at the legendary Park Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles on Saturday, December 20. "We love each other so much," the singer gushed to PEOPLE.

Christina Applegate, Lisa Vanderpump, Gabourey Sidibe, Backstreet Boys' AJ McLean, and Bass' former bandmates JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, and Chris Kirkpatrick were among the 300 guests. Justin Timberlake was unable to attend due to his touring schedule. He "feels bad" for missing the nuptials, Bass said.

Actresses JoAnna Garcia Swisher and Jamie-Lynn Sigler officiated the wedding. "You could easily go to a preacher, a pastor or a rabbi but I don't like that because you don't really know them. You have a stranger in charge of the most important day of your life," Bass explained. "We loved the idea of using someone who knows us."

The couple swapped vows that they wrote themselves. JC sang for their first dance as a married couple. The ceremony will be televised February 5 at 8 P.M. ET as part of an E! special "Lance Loves Michael: The Lance Bass Wedding", marking the first time ever an American TV network is broadcasting a celebrity wedding between two men.
