The cast of "Annie" gathered in New York City for the premiere of the musical flick at the Ziegfeld Theater on Sunday, December 7. Oscar-nominated actress Quvenzhane Wallis who plays the titular character was joined by her co-stars Jamie Foxx, Cameron Diaz, Bobby Cannavale as well as Sia Furler, Will Smith and Rose Byrne among others.

Wallis, who wore a beige dress and Converse sneakers, posed with a dog on the red carpet at one point. Diaz, meanwhile, looked beautiful in a black dress. Byrne opted for a long-sleeved patterned ensemble by Mary Katrantzou while Sia wore a black coat over a white top and blue jeans.
The premiere took place more than a week after Sony Pictures was hacked by a group named Guardians of Peace. Following the hack, sensitive data about their employees as well as files of some of unreleased movies including "Annie" were spread online.
Speaking to Variety, director Will Gluck opened up about his days after he learned of the leak. "There is no playbook on how to feel about that so it's kind of tough to navigate. At the end of the day, if ultimately more people get to see the movie because of that awful thing, then that's the only silver lining I can hang on to," he said.
North Korea has been linked to the cyber attack, but they denied their involvement in a statement on Sunday. However, an unnamed spokesperson for National Defence Commission said that it "might be a righteous deed of the supporters and sympathizers" of the country.
