Kelly Rowland has sent out her first Instagram post following the death of her mother Doris Rowland Garrison. On Friday, December 5, the singer took to the photo-sharing site to upload a touching photo of her cradling her newborn son Titan.
In the photo, the new mother can be seen sitting with a glass door as the background. The sun shines through the door, giving beautiful effect to the photo. "My only sunshine......you make me happy, when skies are grey. #TITAN #LIFE," she captioned the photo.
Rowland had roller coaster moments in her life recently. She gave birth to baby Titan on November 4 and lost her mother on December 2 following a heart attack. "It is with deep sadness that I announce the passing of my mother, Doris Rowland Garrison," she said in a statement on Wednesday. "She was an incredible soul who made countless sacrifices so that I could become the woman - and now mother - I am today. We humbly appreciate all the love and support and only ask for privacy during this difficult time."
A few days before her mother's passing at the age of 66, Rowland also shared a glimpse at her baby boy's feet. "The most Happiest moment of my life -- TJW!" she captioned the photo.
