AceShowbiz - Some new details regarding AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd's run-in with the law have emerged. On Friday, December 5, some info from court documents about Rudd's case which led to his charges was shared to public.

Rudd was arrested in early November in his Tauranga, New Zealand home. He was then charged with possession of methamphetamine and cannabis after the police found 0.71g of methamphetamine and 130g of cannabis. He was also charged with threatening to kill.

As reported by BBC, the documents mentioned that Rudd made two phone calls on September 26. He allegedly "spoke about what he wanted done to" a man in the first conversation with a business associate. In the second phone call, he allegedly spoke to the man, whose name was withheld, and "threatened to kill him and his daughter." According to the documents, he admitted to possessing marijuana, but he denied making the phone calls and threatening to kill.

He may face up to seven years in jail if convicted in threatening charge. He additionally will get three months in jail for the marijuana and six months for methamphetamine possession.

On Thursday, he was arrested again after breaching his bail conditions by making contact with a witness in the ongoing case. He was released after the terms were tightened. His court appearance is next set for February 10.
