Pharrell Williams has no protege left in the competition following the December 2 elimination show, while Adam Levine will be represented by three singers in the semifinals.

AceShowbiz - "The Voice" has narrowed down the contestants of its season 7 to five. On Tuesday night, December 2, three of the Top 8 were eliminated based on viewers' votes following their Monday performances.

Matt McAndrew from Team Adam Levine was the first to be announced safe, followed by Damien also from Team Adam. Taylor John Williams from Team Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton's protege Craig Wayne Boyd were also safe, leaving the other four in jeopardy.

DaNica Shirey and Luke Wade of Team Pharrell Williams, Ryan Sill of Team Gwen and Chris Jamison of Team Adam later sang once again to convince fans to save one of them. Adam was confident that "Chris Jamison is in the top five."

The Maroon 5 frontman was indeed right as his protege won the Instant Save. This means DaNica, Luke and Ryan were all sent home, making Pharrell the only mentor with no protege left in the competition.

The Top 5 will return in the semifinals next Monday and Tuesday at 8 P.M. on NBC.
