The 62-year-old actor defeats Elliot Seymour, who is half his age, in a Moscow exhibition bout.

Mickey Rourke still has it. The star of "The Wrestler" returned to the ring for his first boxing match in 20 years and defeated his opponent Elliot Seymour, a 29-year-old former California Golden Gloves champion who had a 1-9 professional record.
The Oscar-nominated actor sent Seymour to the canvas twice in the second round before the referee stopped the fight. He was declared the winner by knockout. The exhibition bout took place on Friday, November 28 in Moscow.
"I'm very happy to be back to the boxing ring. Thank God for letting me do this," Rourke said before the match. He also told Russian TV that boxing had "sort of saved me from myself." He shed 35 lbs. for the fight. Both boxers reportedly received "large amounts of money" in fees.
Rourke was an amateur boxer in the 1960s-70s with a record of 27 wins (17 by knockout) and 3 defeats. He took interest in acting in the following years, landing roles in such films as "Angel Heart" and "9 1/2 Weeks". He returned as professional boxer in 1990s and was undefeated in eight fights, with six wins and two draws.
His recent movies include "Java Heat", "Generation Iron" and "Sin City: A Dame to Kill For".
