Michael Clifford has responded to Abigail Breslin's song "You Suck" that reportedly took a dig at him. The 5 Seconds of Summer guitarist laughed when asked about his disgruntled ex-girlfriend during a radio interview Down Under recently. "I haven't spoken to her in a year," he said.

While the "Little Miss Sunshine" star didn't name whom she's singing about, Clifford agreed with fans who believed that he was the guy she mocked in the song. The pop punk musician said the tattoo and dyed hair were obvious references to him. "That's the one lesson to learn," he added.

In her song, Breslin wished she could send a guy with a "dumb tattoo" "to the moon." She blasted, "I hate the scar above your eye, it looks like you're on drugs/ And you really need to learn to wash your hair/ Overall, you're not a catch, you're just a dumbass/ Bleaching your hair, I hope it all falls out."

Clifford was in Australia with his bandmates Luke Hemmings, Calum Hood, and Ashton Irwin for the 28th annual ARIA Music Awards. They opened the show with a live performance of "She Looks So Perfect". They got four nominations and took home Song of the Year prize for their hit single.
