Nicki Minaj, Charli XCX, and One Direction will help close the year 2014 as musical guests on 'Saturday Night Live' this December.

AceShowbiz - "Saturday Night Live" announces hosts and musical guests for this December episodes. James Franco, Amy Adams, and Martin Freeman are announced to serve as emcees, while Nicki Minaj, Charli XCX, and One Direction will perform.
Franco will return to host the NBC variety show on December 6 for the third time with, Minaj making her second appearance as a musical guest. Freeman is set to make his debut as "SNL" host the following weekend on December 13, with first-time performer Charli XCX.
Adams will close out the month. She will host the sketch show on December 20 for the second time. Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, and Liam Payne are confirmed to play their songs, making their third appearance as musical guests.
