Zayn Malik is back. After missing One Direction's special performance on "Today" show on Monday, November 17, he reunited with bandmates Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson at a concert in Orlando on Tuesday night.

Fans who attended the private gig at Universal went into a frenzy, excitedly taking to Twitter and Instagram to tell fellow Directioners the good news. Some of them also posted pictures or videos of Malik and other 1D members during the show.

"Zayn is in the private show at universal!!! We missed you," one fan tweeted while captioning a photo of the 21-year-old superstar on the stage. "IM SO HAPPY I CAN SLEEP PEACEFULLY ZAYN MY SUNSHINE HES OKAY HES BACK THERES 5/5 NOW #ZaynIsBack," another added.

1D appeared on "Today" show to promote their latest album "FOUR" without Malik. When host Matt Lauer asked them what happened to their pal, Payne said, "He's got a tummy bug so he's not very well at the moment, so he couldn't make it over."

Lauer then asked if drugs had anything to do with Malik's absence. The 21-year-old entertainer got offended and then expressed his anger as he talked with U.K.'s The Sun. "I'm really angry and upset by what was said on the 'Today' show. I was really ill at the weekend. That's why I couldn't fly to America," he told the paper.
