A new teaser is released for Disney's new reimagining of classic tale "Cinderella". Featuring the iconic scene of the rags-to-riches princess running away from the ball, the video is to whet fans' appetite before the full trailer finally arrives later this week.

"Downton Abbey" actress Lily James portrays the titular heroine. Richard Madden is in the supporting role as the Prince, Cate Blanchett stars as the wicked stepmother and Helena Bonham Carter portrays the Fairy Godmother. Holliday Grainger, Stellan Skarsgard and Derek Jacobi join the cast ensemble.

Kenneth Branagh ("Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets", "Thor", "My Week with Marilyn") sits behind the lens, and Chris Weitz ("The Golden Compass") writes the screenplay. The full trailer will premiere on "Good Morning America" on Wednesday, November 19.

The story follows young Ella whose merchant father remarries following the death of her mother. When the father unexpectedly passes away, she finds herself at the mercy of a jealous and cruel new family. She is relegated to nothing more than a servant girl covered in ashes, and spitefully renamed Cinderella.

And then there is the dashing stranger she meets in the woods. Unaware that he is really a prince, not merely an apprentice at the Palace, Ella finally feels she has met a kindred soul. When the Palace sends out an open invitation for all maidens to attend a ball, she hopes to encounter the charming Kit again.

The movie is due out March 13, 2015 in the States.
