AceShowbiz - It's recently revealed that %cLorde% hired %cKanye West% to rework "Yellow Flicker Beat" which she created for the soundtrack of "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1". The new version titled "Flicker" is now here.

The new track, released on Vevo on Monday, November 10, has no vocals from West. It features Lorde singing the lines from the original over a completely new slowed-down beat produced by the rapper.

Lorde recently released a music video for the original "Yellow Flicker Beat". "My character in this video, whether she's weaving her way through a decadent ballroom, hiding out in a grimy, neon-lit motel room (her hair ever-so-slightly disheveled), or waiting in the night for her bus to come dressed in her whitest clothes, is a shapeshifter, full of intensity and impulse, kind of like Katniss. Whether she's in a small space or a cavernous one, she's fiery," she said of the Emily Kai Bock-directed visuals in a Tumblr post.

The "Mockingjay" soundtrack, curated by Lorde, will also feature other tracks by %cThe Chemical Brothers%, %cCHVRCHES%, %cAriana Grande% and %cMajor Lazer%. It is slated for release on November 18. The film, meanwhile, is opening in U.S. theaters on November 21.
