Bette Midler is hitting the road again next year. The veteran singer has announced her plan to embark on a North American tour to support her new album "It's the Girls" which will be released on Tuesday, November 4.

The 22-city tour is opening with two shows at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, FL on May 8-9, 2015. She'll also make stops in other big cities across North America including Tampa, Atlanta, Houston, Seattle, Vancouver, Philadelphia and Toronto before wrapping things up on June 25 at Madison Square Garden in New York.

The tour will mark Midler's first in ten years. "I don't want to travel with 40 trucks. I don't want to travel with 90 people," Midler told Associated Press. "Bruno Mars is my hero. Bruno Mars has eight trucks. If I tour, that's how I want to tour. I don't want the confetti cannons."

Tickets for the upcoming shows go on sale starting on November 17. Every ticket purchased online will be accompanied by a copy of "It's the Girls". The album features Midler's covers of songs by famous girl groups including TLC, The Ronettes, The Supremes and The Shirelles.

"It's like finding a beautiful piece of jewelry or clothing that you've totally forgotten about and it's a little down-at-the-heel," she said of the record. "You polish it up or you put some starch in it. Suddenly, it looks new again."
