"Minions" debuts the first trailer. It follows the simple-minded yellow creatures years before the events in "Despicable Me". Before becoming henchmen to Gru, they served many masters from Dinosaur to Pharaoh to Napoleon to Dracula.

"Finding a master was easy," says the voiceover. "Keeping a master, that's where things got tricky." Right on cue, the Minions are shown ending up accidentally killing all their masters including exposing their blood-sucking vampire boss to direct sunlight.

Now without a master, they are falling into a deep depression, but but one Minion has a plan. Along with two companions, he ventures out into the world and lands in the 1960s New York City to find a new evil boss for his brethren to follow.
