Video: Amy Poehler Quizzes George R.R. Martin on 'Game of Thrones' Lines

The 'Parks and Recreation' star asks the 'A Song of Ice and Fire' books writer to find out if he can remember the lines of dialogue he wrote for his characters.

Amy Poehler tested George R.R. Martin's knowledge about "Game of Thrones" when they appeared as guest stars on "Late Night with Seth Meyers" Tuesday night, October 28. The "A Song of Ice and Fire' books author played a trivia in which he had to guess which characters said the lines read by Poehler and the show's host Seth Meyers.

Martin could answer almost all of the questions correctly, except when they put a twist on it, like when Poehler asked whose line "Hodor" belonged to. Martin pretended to take some time to think, before confidently saying, "Hodor." Poehler corrected, "No, I'm sorry, that was actually Bran trying to get Hodor's attention." Martin couldn't help laughing at the joke.

Also during his visit to the late-night talk show, Martin knighted Meyers after sharing story of how he first knighted his fans. Using a sword brought by Poehler, he declared, "I dub thee Sir Seth, a knight of the pizza."

"Parks and Recreation" star Poehler stopped by the show to promote her new book "Yes Please", while Martin has just released a "Game of Thrones" companion guide, "The World of Ice and Fire".
