Kevin Feige also reveals that the studio has met with writer Reggie Hudlin about the attempt to bring the Wakanda hero to the big screen.

Details of "Black Panther" movie have been revealed during the announcement of Marvel's Phase-3 movies. The studio's top head Kevin Feige said the first black superhero in mainstream American comics would be introduced on the big screen for the first time in "Captain America: Civil War".

The character to be played by "42" actor Chadwick Boseman would don a full costume and be an integral part of the third "Captain America" movie. When asked if the studio was looking for an African American director to shepherd the project, Feige said, "We're looking for the best directors possible." No screenwriter has been hired, but Reggie Hudlin who penned the "Black Panther" animated series has met with Marvel about the film. "Reggie I've known for many years and is a great guy - I think I'm meeting him again shortly," the producer spilled.

"Black Panther and all of Wakanda is one of the most interesting characters in Marvel history," said Feige. "Something I already showed you today contains an Easter egg that leads directly into Black Panther," the studio's top head teased, apparently referring to the "Age of Ultron" footage shown at the event.

On top of that, Deadline reports that Boseman has signed a lucrative five-film deal that begins with "Captain America 3" and continues through Marvel's just-unveiled Phase 3 lineup.
