AceShowbiz - James Corden's "Late Late Show" on CBS has gotten a start date. The British actor who will play the baker in Disney's film "Into the Woods" is announced to make his debut as a host on the late-night show Monday, March 9, 2015 (12:37-1:37 A.M., ET/PT).

"We're excited to begin CBS's next chapter after midnight and introduce James' wide range of performance talents and fearless creative instincts to American television viewers," said Nina Tassler, Chairman, CBS Entertainment. "He and Ben have been friends for a long time and partnered together on a variety of successful projects. They are a creatively dynamic and very energetic host/producer combination."

Corden takes over "The Late Late Show" from Craig Ferguson who will make his final appearance as a host on the show December 19 this year. The new "Late Late Show" will be overseen by Corden's longtime friend Ben Winston who produced "The X Factor (UK)" and One Direction documentaries.

Another CBS host, David Letterman, is also preparing for retirement. He will be stepping down sometime in 2015, but the studio hasn't announced a date for the final episode of "Late Show with David Letterman". Stephen Colbert will replace him on the slot.
