Brantley Gilbert is engaged to a woman from his hometown. The country musician shared the happy news in an interview with radio program called "The Bobby Bones Show" on Tuesday morning, October 21. The "Let It Ride" singer did not share the lady's name, but the Georgia native revealed that he had known her for 10 years.

"It was one of those things that was on and off for few years - mostly on - and then she was the one that got away for about five years," he revealed. "It came back around and I've never been happier. This little one, she's the one, and I'm a pretty stoked dude. I'm pretty excited to say the least."

The "You Don't Know Her Like I Do" singer additionally said that his fiancee is a teacher. "[She] teaches schools about a mile up the road from my house and it's an awesome thing. She loves to teach," he shared.

"You'll hear her in most of my songs," he gushed, before mentioning his song "More than Miles". The track, which is included in 2011's "Halfway to Heaven", features lyrics like, "Cause that girl's in every song I sing/ She's in every song I write/ And that six string ridin' in her seat/ Won't keep me warm tonight."

The singer, who currently is on his "Let It Ride Tour", was previously engaged to fellow entertainer Jana Kramer. He and the "One Tree Hill" star ended their relationship in 2013.
