Rumor has it, Anthony and Joe Russo will take the mantle from Josh Whedon after the duo is done with 'Captain America 3'.

Joss Whedon will reportedly pass the torch to different director in "The Avengers 3" and "The Avengers 4". According Badass Digest, Anthony and Joe Russo are in negotiations to sit behind the lens for the third and fourth installments of Marvel's big assemble movie series.
The Russo brothers directed "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" which received mostly positive reviews from viewers. The duo will return to the helming duty for "Captain America 3" which is slated to arrive in North America starting May 6, 2016.
Robert Downey Jr. allegedly enters negotiations to reprise his role as Tony Stark in "Cap 3" which reportedly explores the "Civil War" storyline where the superheroes finding themselves upon different sides. If the rumor is true, he will be pitted against Chris Evans' Steve Rogers.
The next Marvel flick is "Avengers: Age of Ultron" helmed by Whedon. Both Downey Jr. and Evans are there. They are joined by Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), and Mark Ruffalo (Hulk). Aaron Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen are added as Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch respectively. It's due May 1, 2015.
