Anna Kendrick took to Twitter on Monday, September 15 to share her opinion about Kira Kazantsev's cup performance during the 2015 Miss America pageant. Anna posted a collage of pictures of her and Pharrell Williams, captioning it with, "So I guess @Pharrell and I can't stop collaborating. #MissAmerica #WhatIsHappening??"

Kira, who was crowned the winner of Miss America 2015, performed a rendition of Pharrell's "Happy" while sitting legs crossed on stage and playing a red cup on the floor at the Sunday event. The 23-year-old woman said her performance was inspired by a similar scene in 2012's "Pitch Perfect", in which Anna's character performed rhythmically with a cup while she was in an audition.

Kira told ABC News of her performance, "The reason why I chose to do that talent is I wanted every single little girl in America to be able to see that you can do that talent - you can do whatever talent you want on national television - even with a red cup - and still be Miss America and have the time of your life."

"I literally in that minute and 30 seconds had the most fun I've ever had, and that's because I stayed true to myself and I did what I wanted to do for my talent, no matter what everybody else told me, and it paid off. I'm very happy about it," she added.

Kira's cup performance has received negative comments from some Twitter users. A user posted, "I just saw #MissAmerica's talent. She literally tapped a solo cup on the ground. It's time to shut the pageant down. Embarrassing." Meanwhile, another user wrote, "Obviously #MissAmerica title is not based on talent... this is ridiculous #reallythecupmovestohappy #sodisappointed."
