"Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." keeps adding guest members. Hayley Atwell, who played Agent Peggy Carter in "Captain America: The First Avenger", and ABC anchor George Stephanopoulos are set to make appearance in the second season of the TV series.

The sophomore season will kick off on September 23. It will introduce Steve Rogers' love interest from the World War II before she is given more depth in a TV spin-off "Marvel's Agent Carter" which will fill in for "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D" when the series takes its holiday break later this year.

Other guest stars in "S.H.I.E.L.D." include Adrianne Palicki as Mockingbird and Brian Patrick Wade as the Absorbing Man. Clark Gregg returns as Agent Phil Coulson, Ming-Na as Agent Melinda May, Brett Dalton as Grant Ward, Chloe Bennet as Skye, and many more.

While waiting for the second season to start, fans can watch the first season nonstop on DVD which arrives Tuesday, September 9. The bonus features include behind-the-scene videos and interview with the cast. A featurette from the episode which saw Jaimie Alexander's Lady Sif taking down a group of rowdy bikers has landed online.
