AceShowbiz - "The Hateful Eight" teaser trailer that is attached to "Sin City: A Dame to Kill For", opening in theaters August 22, has landed online. The bootleg video misses the first few seconds. Containing no actual footage since filming has not started yet, it opens on snow dunes, while the title card explains that the movie is about strangers being stranded in a blizzard who soon "discovered they shared a deadly connection."
The video then enlists the Hateful Eight, which are Major Marquis Warren a.k.a. The Bounty Hunter, John Ruth a.k.a. The Hangman, Daisy Domergue a.k.a. The Prisoner, Chris Mannix a.k.a. The Sheriff, Bob a.k.a. The Mexican, Oswald Mobray a.k.a. The Little Man, Joe Gage a.k.a. The Cow Puncher, and General Sandy Smithers a.k.a. The Confederate.
It then shows bloody numbers counting up to "8" which leads to "8 MAKES HATE". The screen fills with "See It in Glorious 70mm {Super Cinemascope}" before mentioning 2015, which is when the movie is expected to arrive.
"The Hateful Eight" is another western movie from Quentin Tarantino following 2012's "Django Unchained". He was angry when the script leaked earlier this year and threatened to scrap it, but later changed his mind.
Filming is set to begin early next year. Kurt Russell has confirmed his involvement in the movie, with Samuel L. Jackson, Bruce Dern, Michael Madsen, James Remar, Amber Tamblyn, Walton Goggins and Zoe Bell among rumored cast members.
